Music for Life projects.

Background.

Also Ran have coordinated and run numerous music production and DJ workshops for targeted groups in the UK, including the hugely successful ‘Music for Life’ scheme, where we take groups of unemployed musicians into a studio environment to learn new skills. There we help the participants to develop their talent,  while assisting with signposting them back into education, work or training. We have also programmed DJ and MC workshops, and produced radio production projects for BBC Blast, helping scores of young or up-coming artists to develop their skills and talent. Our mission is to use the medium of music to bring together people from all walks of life, to engage, collaborate, spread positivity and ultimately create some original and interesting music.
